COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS, REGUCOMPLIANCE WITH LAWS, REGULATIONS, POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
a. General Compliance
By registering or using this system, you agree to you have read, understood and accept this Code of Conduct (the "Code"). The Code shall govern the general conduct of all drivers (the “Driver”) using DRUPP ride hailing service (the “Service”) by DRUPP Logistics Support Systems Ltd. (“DRUPP” or the “Company”) and in relation to the Driver’s account on the DRUPP App (the “Account”) on the DRUPP mobile application (the “Application”). This Code also sets out the best practices and expected conduct of the Driver in relation to the passengers assigned through the DRUPP Application (the “Rider”).
You shall comply with all laws of The Federal Republic of Nigeria (including but not limited to traffic laws), regulations, rules, policies and guidelines as well as this Code and any additional guidelines that may be issued by the Company from time to time.
DRUPP reserves the rights to modify any information referenced in this Code, policies and additional guidelines. Such modifications are effective upon posting.
i. Intention to Defraud
Fraudulent acts and behaviour will not be tolerated by DRUPP. DRUPP ride-hailing platform is built on trust. Any illegal activities will undermine the trust built on good faith.
The company has the choice to deactivate any account(s) found to be involved in fraudulent activity; including but not restricted to: disputing fares for fraudulent or unauthorised reasons; collusion between driver and rider; creating accounts for fraudulent purposes; claiming fraudulent fees and/or charges; intentionally completing falsified or fraudulent trips; and accepting trips without the intention to complete.

ii. Harassment to Staff
Acts of harassment toward any DRUPP staff shall not be tolerated, such actions include but not restricted to: harass and/or threaten any staff within the premises or over telephone and/or other forms of communication methods; asking for personal mobile numbers or personal information; stalking or taking of photos will result in legal prosecution and further disciplinary actions will be taken.
Violent and aggressive behaviour against any staff will not be condoned. Driver and/or rider must not exhibit any aggression which includes but not limited to: verbal and physical disputes; the use of profanities and making threats. DRUPP maintains that violence of any kind will not be tolerated.
You understand that any such violent, aggressive, unwanted attention or physical contact may be prosecuted under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Derogatory remarks about any person or any group is disrespectful and must not be made.
iii. Harassment to Drivers and Riders
Acts of harassment towards any drivers or riders shall not be tolerated, such actions include but not restricted to: unnecessary contact with driver or rider unless it is for purposes related to the job booking made previously; harass or threaten driver or rider when the ride is ongoing or ended; stalking and/or taking of photos without permission; making unwanted physical or sexual contact; asking overly about personal questions and/or forced discussion of sensitive topics will result in disciplinary actions or legal prosecution.
iv. Consumption of drugs/alcohol
Illegal substances and the consumption of alcohol are not permitted in Drivers’ vehicles. This is against the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and a serious violation of DRUPP’s policy. Please keep the vehicle clean and hygienic.
v. Validity of Driver’s License.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your Driver’s License is valid and current. You understand that Driving on a highway without a drivers license is an offence. It is an offence punishable with fine of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only. Under sections 23, 29 and 31 of the Federal Road Safety Commission Act, 2007 b. Validity of Vehicle License You shall ensure that all your vehicle papers are in order as provided by the Federal Road Safety Commission Act 2007.

Validity of Vehicle License You shall ensure that all your vehicle papers are in order as provided by the Federal Road Safety Commission Act 2007. Violation of this is an offence which attracts a fine of N3,000.
c. Insurance
You have the responsibility of ensuring that your vehicle is covered with current and valid commercial motor vehicle insurance.
d. Inward-Facing In-Vehicle Recording Device
You are required to inform the Company if you have an inward-facing IVRD (with or without audio recording) installed in your vehicle, along with a photo of the approval letter from relevant authority for inward-facing IVRD installation.
e. Usage of Child Restraint
Anyone below the height of 1.35 will be required to be secured with a child restraint appropriate for a person of that height and weight; the use of a booster seat to supplement the seat belt or the use of an approved adjustable seat belt.
f. Cooperation with Company
It is DRUPP’s aim to ensure the quality of service, as part of its effort to improve service quality of the Company and ensure full compliance to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, relevant regulations and guidelines.
The Company may request for information. You are required to cooperate with your full support and comply with the reasonable requests of any Staff of the Company.
You agree not to be involved in any activity that may impair or degrade the reputation of the Company and/or causes disruption to the Company’s operations. You shall not harm the business or brand, such as unauthorised use of DRUPP’s trademark or intellectual property. You shall not conspire with other parties with the intention to harm the company.
g. Data
The Company may collect and use information to enable reliable and convenient transportation. The information may also be used to enhance the safety and security of our users and services.
our information may be processed for marketing purposes including but not limited to promotions, contests, events and alerts.
Your personal Data may be shared amongst its subsidiaries, associate companies and jointly controlled entities as well as with its agent, vendor, supplier, partner, contractor or service provider who may communicate with you to market their products, services, events or promotions by way of post, telephone call, short message service (SMS), by hand and/or by email.
h. Accurate Personal Information
You must provide us with accurate personal information. As your name, profile photo, and vehicle details are given to the riders when the ride is matched, accurate information is required for the rider to correctly identify you.
You must only use the vehicle that corresponds to the vehicle description provided by you to the company. In an event where your car has to be replaced or documents such as Insurance Policy or Rental Agreement are needed to be updated, the Company must be informed with the necessary documents.
Any changes to the Driver’s personal information such as License update, name change, and other critical personal information must be conveyed immediately via any of the communication methods available.
It is a serious breach of DRUPP’s policy and the Code if the personal information of the Driver or Vehicle are not updated or conveyed to the Company accordingly. The Company reserves the right to take necessary action against such offenders
Policies
a. Trips policy
i. Setting of own fares
You are not allowed to set fares on your own accord (e.g. adding unauthorised additional charges on your own accord). In an event where a change of destination or additional stops is involved, follow our additional stop fare chart from our driver’s FAQ (https://DRUPP.global/faq/driver?riderQuestion=common_enquiries&d
ERP fees are only chargeable to the rider during the trip when the rider is onboard your vehicle.
You are also required to inform riders in regards to the additional charges at the point of request for additional stops/change of destination.
ii. Changing payment methods Respect the rider’s choice of payment method. Requesting for a change of payment method from passengers after accepting a job is strictly not allowed. (e.g. Asking passengers to pay by cash instead of credit card)
iii. Honour a booking you have accepted
Honouring a booking that you have accepted is a crucial factor in building passenger confidence in our service. Hence, if you are unable to pick up the passenger due to an emergency, please do not transfer the job to other drivers or any other person. Instead, kindly inform the passenger immediately before cancelling the booking.
b. Runaway Rider Policy
In the event of a runaway rider or fares were unpaid, drivers are recommended to do the following:
i. Reach a resolution with the rider privately within 2 days. The rider would still be available for contact in the Job History Tab in your DRUPP Driver’s App.
ii. After 2 days, the Company will represent the driver to the best of its ability to retrieve payment from Rider.
iii. Multiple communication methods would be employed to contact the rider such as calls, messages and emails.
iv. Should there be no resolution after a week, the Company is not liable to compensate the driver for the loss of income.
c. Cleaning Charges Policy
Riders are subjected to a fee of N2,000 (payable to drivers) in the event that a permanent / semi-permanent stain / odour is left in the car (e.g. vomiting) that requires professional cleaning to remove.
In such situations, Drivers may add N2,000 to the fare, under "Additional Stop or Others" at the end of the trip.
In the event that riders could not make payment for the additional N2,000 on the spot, please arrange to collect from them within 48hrs, in a payment method that you are comfortable with (e.g. Bank Transfers)
A cleaning receipt must be furnished to the rider after professional cleaning is done.
If a settlement with rider is not possible after 48hrs, please report the case by submitting a cleaning receipt to DRUPP. DRUPP will represent the Driver to the best of our ability in retrieving payment from Rider by immediately contacting the Rider. Rider will not be able to book another DRUPP ride until the payment is made.
d. Vehicle Breakdown Policy
Should a breakdown happen while on a trip, please park your vehicle at the safest possible location. Do let the rider know of the situation and apologise that you are unable to continue the trip.
Please also end the current trip. If payment is by card, do inform rider that you would inform the Company of the breakdown and process a full refund for them. If payment is by cash, no action is needed unless rider needs a time receipt for the breakdown. In such cases, please advise the rider to email the Company for verification and documentation. Assist rider if possible for another trip to continue their journey. Contact towing services / car workshop for help to assist you in the breakdown safely.
e. Accident Policy
In the unfortunate event that an accident happens, please ensure that the rider and you are safe and well. Should there be injuries or discomfort, please call the relevant emergency numbers immediately for ambulance services. For insurance claims, please do take note of the rider's particulars and contact details, for claim and reporting purposes.
f. Feedback policy
We appreciate your feedback. As always, we love hearing from you. For any ideas, information, or suggestions you do submit, regardless of what your submissions says, you understand that your submissions are voluntary and the following terms shall apply to your submissions:

Your submissions and their contents will automatically become the property of the Company, without any compensation to you; The Company has no obligation to review your submissions; The Company may implement and distribute any portion of your submissions and their contents for any purpose in any way, without any compensation to you; and The Company has no obligation to keep your submissions confidential.
